MSU Sociology celebrates Pride Month

June 11, 2024

At the heart of our department, MSU Sociology strives to understand the vast and diverse factors that come together to create our human world. It has been our long-standing commitment and honor to include deep dives into the lives, policies, realities and obstacles faced every day by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, agender, and two-spirit individuals and their families.

During June, which is Pride Month, our faculty, staff and students appreciate the opportunity to highlight work done by and in collaboration with our LBGTQIA2S+ community members. If you would like to learn more about our work in this area, please check out the Consortium for Sexual and Gender Minority Health here:  https://socialscience.msu.edu/research/thematic/sgm/index.html
