Exploring Pressing Issues at the Interface of Water Science and Environmental Justice

Dr. Stephen Gasteyer, Associate Professor of Sociology, will be presenting a flash talk at the Water Science and Technology Board meeting for the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine Oct. 7.
On October 7-8, the Water Science and Technology Board (WSTB) will explore equity and environmental justice across a range of issues, including water availability, drinking water quality, and flood risk and recovery. Through a series of flash talks and panel discussions on October 7, WSTB will provide a forum for broader conversation and potential action on these important issues. On October 8, WSTB invites you to join them in reflections on the prior day's discussions, as well as briefings on recently completed activities.
