MSU Sociology PhD alumni have new publications

MSU Sociology PhD alumni Kelly Birch Maginot (2019) and Breanne Grace (2013) both have publications in the recent journal Ethnic and Racial Studies.

Dr. Maginot's paper, “Effects of deportation fear on Latinx’s civic and political participation” can be accessed here: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/01419870.2020.1738516 She is just finishing her first year as Assistant Director of the Women’s Leadership and Resource Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

She is an assistant professor in the School of Social Work at the University of South Carolina.
