Documentary film screening and discussion “A Benton Harbor Story”

The Environmental Justice & Climate Action Learning Community is hosting the MSU premiere of the documentary film A Benton Harbor Story next week. The film focuses on the context and impact of the recent water quality crisis in Benton Harbor, MI.  While Flint’s water crisis received national attention, Benton Harbor also experienced similar issues that have not been fully resolved. The premiere will be followed by a panel discussion featuring lead filmmaker and MSU Sociology PhD alum Dr. Cedric Taylor and members of the learning community.
