Dr. Katherine E. Dentzman is a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at Washington State University. She received her doctoral degree in Sociology from MSU in 2017. She also has a masters degree in Sociology from MSU with a specialization in Ecological Food and Farming System.

Her areas of interest include Environmental Sociology, Industrialized and Alternative Agricultural Systems, Mixed Methods, Place Studies, Agricultural Technology, Local Food Systems, Herbicide Resistant Weed Management, Sustainability and Inequality.
