Seung-won Choi


Seung-won Choi is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Sociology. Her research areas include health disparities, family demography, aging and life course, and quantitative methods. In particular, she is interested in how intergenerational relationships are associated with the health and well-being of older adults in the United States and Asian countries. Prior to attending Michigan State University, she worked as a researcher at the Korean Women's Development Institute. Seung-won is originally from Seoul, South Korea and received her B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from Yonsei University.
