Inna Mirzoyan

Biography:

Inna is a second year Ph.D. student in Sociology with a specialization in Women’s and Gender Studies and is pursuing the University Graduate Certification in College Teaching. Inna is interested in using an intersectional lens to study migration to the US, public attitudes, social movements, and immigration policy. Inna was a 2018 Summer Institute in Survey Research Techniques Diversity Fellow at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she completed courses on questionnaire design and data collection. Currently, Inna is an Interdisciplinary Inquiry and Teaching (IIT) Fellow with the James Madison College (JMC). She is developing a qualitative project that uses interviews and focus groups with JMC professors and students to evaluate the college's grading system.
