Bryant Mills 


Bryant is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology. His research interest includes Health and Medicine, Biopolitics, Citizen Science, and Feminist Epistemologies of science. In particular, he is interested in leveraging community expertise in the development of new research models and tools, that work to mitigate health disparities and crises in marginalized communities. Prior to attending graduate school, he worked in the public sector with vulnerable populations at community-based organizations, such as The Door - A Center of Alternatives. This fall he will be working with Dr. Jennifer Carrera to develop low-cost technologies for understanding environmental risks and protecting public health.
