Steve Gold’s book selected for review Fall 2011 ASA Journal “Contexts”

Dr. Steve Gold's The Store in the Hood: A Century of Ethnic Business and Conflict was one of three books selected for review in the Fall 2011 ASA Journal "Contexts". The reviewer states, "What makes The Store in the Hood unique is its elegant synthesis of historical data and sociological theories on entrepreneurship and ethnic conflict."  A paperback edition of the book was published in 2012. (full review here)
